So here's the non-food portion of our little trip to Singapore.

We stayed at the Studio M hotel. I booked it cos it was cheap, but it ended up being really nice! The room was TALL rather than wide, which was cool. It had a nice pool that we went swimming in every day, and it was RIGHT on the river.

After going to the beach on Sunday, we went back to that amazing onsen. This place is open 24 hours and is totally FREE!! Offers gorgeous views of the ocean. Can't beat it!

This weekend we went on our first trip with the Tokyo Gaijins-- an epic camping trip that would take us to the islands of Niijima and Shikinejima. This trip contained a lot of firsts for me-- first trip with the Gaijins, first time to these islands, first time in a LOOONG time to sleep in a tent, and first time wearing a bikini in public ( Read more... )

RooG and I are officially Warriors! YAY! This was my very first mud run and very first 5k. It was hard and fun!
