The call came this morning. Apparently, the snow is gone and there is access to the bunkhouse. However, apparently during the winter, a critter got inside and destroyed it, including chewing holes in the walls and all the furniture, along with 'the world is my potty' mindset that animals have. Listening to the rain and the heater at the moment. These are sounds normally heard in February, not May. I haven't been around a lot today and I am sorry about that. It's been a crazy day of getting ready for camping and that has meant I hit the ground running this morning. Saturday morning came way too soon. We had bought memory foam and a down topper for the sofa bed and it worked like a charm. Even better - no mice! Yay! I didn't sleep as well as I'd hoped, but that was okay. I woke to people tiptoeing back and forth to the bathroom. TBG advised me that it had been going on for about ten minutes. and apparently hiding in my couch. For those who might not know, I have Degenerative spondylolisthesis and basically it means my back is garbage. I've had two surgeries for it and about eight inches of steel plates, screws and cages holding my back in place. I tell you this not as a plea for sympathy or to whine. It's just as it is.
