Just got back from the vet and Trouble has parvo. Thankfully, she doesn't seem to know it yet. She's busting around the study and tearing up the place. We are starting her on some meds just as a precaution more than anything as she is squirting just a bit. She's attentive and demanding of attention. We caught one of the black ones. We lost the other one and discovered it hiding in the car engine. Thank Bast TBG checked! The leaf blowers come this afternoon and I am hoping that will send her back to us.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we were partially successful at capturing kittens yesterday. We got three of the five. Two have been taken by a Kitten Rescue group and Trouble is in the house. I have an appointment on Monday, right before Phoebe's to get her checked over and started with her shots. Lisa will take her at that point and we ( Read more... )

I wasn't around much yesterday because we were on a bit of a rescue mission. Little Bit, the smallest of the four black kittens, was getting lethargic, so we took her over to the vet. They did tests and said that she was fine and that she just needed to be fed to booster her back up.

Spot didn't bring home six kittens... she brought home seven! Yesterday, when the leaf blowers were out, I brough the kittens in - four black and a Siamese... strange as I could have sworn there was a gray one... and this morning there is. No idea where he was hiding... so I need homes for six kittens now... sigh...

I wanted to say how much I appreciated all your kind and sympathetic thoughts yesterday. They were truly touching and meant so much to me. Patachou was a good boy and I will miss him. Mother Spot decided to move her kittens. It was expected, but I was sort of hoping it wouldn't happen until after this stormy week ahead. Not that it matters, she will do what she feels she needs to in order to keep them safe... Still, I miss them.
