I wasn't around much yesterday because we were on a bit of a rescue mission. Little Bit, the smallest of the four black kittens, was getting lethargic, so we took her over to the vet. They did tests and said that she was fine and that she just needed to be fed to booster her back up.

Sadly, we had to put Patachou to sleep yesterday morning. It was time and he let us know that. I will miss him, but I know he's at peace now and with Titan, his best buddy ever.

Yesterday, we made the decision to have Jenny Any Dots put to sleep. It was obvious that she was suffering, something the vet confirmed for us. True, we probably could have kept her going for a few more days, but that was not fair to her. Nearly fourteen years ago, she drifted into my life and yesterday, she drifted away. Our foursome is now down to three. We lost one of the totally black kittens last night. We found it in a parking spot. I think it was hit by an incoming car. Squirt and Spot (the smallest and the biggest) are still with us, but I hadn't seen the other two today. Sigh...

Today TBG decided to give an old friend a call. Her husband was our hot air balloon instructor and we had gone to many events with them as their crew. John passed away a couple of years ago and then we found out that their daughter had married an old family friend.
