First, an apology.
I haven't been around a lot today and I am sorry about that. It's been a crazy day of getting ready for camping and that has meant I hit the ground running this morning. So far, there has been a trip to not one but three grocery stores, packing and a ton of cooking. I preassembled and baked the stuffed manicotti, a marinade for the pork roulades, and Hawaiian potato salad. There are still cookies to make, but TBG wanted to help with those.
Minnie decided to move her kittens this morning to behind the toilet. Yeah, I'm guessing Barb's visit was a bit too much for her last night. Plus those little blighters are everywhere now! I need to take the scale downstairs to weigh them, but I'm guessing they are all doing well. TBG is very concerned with Harry and Fox because they are so small. Scully and Totoro dwarf them and No Face comes in in the middle. Our petsitter called last night and said she thinks she's found some potential adopters. It will be hard to let them go, but It will be easier knowing they are going to good homes.
I hope that the weekend will be great for all of you. I will be in and out, mostly out for it and then totally off the grid until next Friday. I'm already missing you guys!
