It's official! I am doing my three-week dig this summer in the tiny town on Whitton in N. Lincolnshire. It's on a promontory where the river Trent meets the river Humber. The town is so bittie it does not even show up on most UK maps. elanya is going, too, so I will have someone to share my tent with. We'll be there from July 28-August 17. Way cool ( Read more... )

I am feeling overwhelmed at the moment. I wish all there was to life was good times with friends, working on projects you love and NO DEADLINES. As it is, I need to come up with a topic for my long essay, put some serious work into my dissertation, find a dig to go on this summer and start looking into a job for next Fall. So my entire house is packed into boxes, and has gone off into storage. That's a HUGE load off my mind. I also re-stocked my pills, so I will have enough for the summer, and closed my bank account at the Bank of Scotland.
