Stayed up waaaay too late last night, but actually woke up before noon today (which means I have been functioning on about six hours of sleep all day). Yesterday, there was pubbing at the Dev Cat, with playing the Buffy Game (yay!) followed by a BBQ at Edy's.

There has been sort of nebulous talk about having a girls' night next Friday. Nothing firm yet, but I am up for it. I even volunteer to have it at my house, if no one has a better idea. It feels good to be home, but I just wanted to recount our little trip here. Thursday, I joined Ian and elanya in Edinburgh to indulge in a little Beltane festivity. Last night, for no apparent reason, we made a nest in our upstairs bedroom (no "Stranger in a Strange Land" connotations). It was fun. We have a bunch of small spare matresses lying around, so we put three of them together and covered them with colourful blankets and pillows from around the house, until it was just a big, cozy nest.
