Yesterday I read a book called "The Prince of Tides" by Pat Conroy. It's like nearly 700 pages in the paperback version I have (physical copy of the book! I've gained a little weight. It pisses me off because I was SO CLOSE to breaking into the 120s again. But, I haven't been able to exercersize due to the seriously excessive heat wave we've had this week. After four years in temperate Irvine, this kind of heat just kills me. Well, it looks like pushing myself to walk for three hours was a bit of a mistake. I feel like crap today. So, I'm taking the day off from walking to Nike, which means I get an extra three hours to do things today. Yesterday I finally saw what I've been wanting to see for a long while now: 130lbs on the scale. And yes, to be fair, it was 130.6lbs, and today I'm down to 130.4lbs despite eating McDonald's yesterday (though I TOTALLY PWNED MCDONALD'S yesterday. I got a meal for $4.05 and 450 calories--score).
