Last night, I played in the first session of an Eberron game I joined while it was on hiatus in early December. THURSDAY--was supposed to go see Fellowship! with Michelle, Jeff, and Cynthia, but the show was sold out, so we saw Cirque Berzerk instead. It was a fun, entertaining show.

Today we gathered to make characters for my Shards campaign (in D&D 4E this time). We used Central Casting to generate backgrounds for everyone, and the end result was an interesting and diverse mix of characters. We start in three weeks (June 14th). Not too long ago, I decided that I would take a hiatus from World of Warcraft. I hit the level cap, I got my epic flying mount, and I'm not terribly interested in raiding or PvP. Another D&D legend is gone.

Dave Arneson, co-creator of D&D, died yesterday. He was 61 years old.

I used to be a lot better about posting here, but for some reason lately I haven't felt the need, or the desire. I'll try to be better about that. Hmm...perhaps a New Year's resolution?
