I am finally done with all of my Gawaine requirements.

Today was a good (birth)day. I hung out at Rock Guard for a bit, did some fighting (my first since getting the kidney stone), made a little more progress in my Gawaine requirements, and then went to Caledonia. Michelle had made these star-shaped chocolate cakes in honor of my birthday, and she got me a copy of Final Fantasy XIII.

Today is my birthday. However, between Rock Guard and Caledonia, I won't have time to do any celebrating. I did have a bit of a surprise when I went to Josh and Dorie's "surprise" birthday dinner last night. They brought out a dish of ice cream with a candle on it for me as well as for the two of them. On a happier note, Caledonia ran its first Grand Quest event today. It was a line course that lasted about six hours, and it rained during most of that, but in the end our second Page was made a Squire. Last weekend, I was planning on going to Estrella. However, we had an unprecedented number of new pages come in to the studio (fourteen by Wednesday, four of which had to go out on Friday) so taking time off was no longer an option.
