Weekend Update

THURSDAY--was supposed to go see Fellowship! with Michelle, Jeff, and Cynthia, but the show was sold out, so we saw Cirque Berzerk instead. It was a fun, entertaining show.

FRIDAY--Michelle and I went to Labyrinth of Jareth. It was fun, too, very low-key compared to last year, although that may have had a lot to do with it being Friday instead of Saturday. Saw a couple of people there that I knew (or who knew me) from our recent LARPing endeavors. We had fun, but were both pretty tired from the week, so we didn't stay too late.

SATURDAY--went to Rich's birthday party at Bar Sinister. I hadn't been there since 2005, and we were in a different part of the bar than that time, so it was like a totally different experience for me. I danced a lot and drank a bit, but that bit went to my head, so I went home with Anne and Chet at 3am and crashed on their couch. No hangover, though.

SUNDAY--ran the second session of the 4th edition Shards campaign at Anne's apartment. Got a bit of a late start, but we played a full five hours anyways. Despite having two weeks to prepare, I was unprepared, and the session was mostly combat, but the story was progressed. I will try and use the next two weeks (well, this coming week, since next week/end is Comic-Con) to be better prepared for the third session.
