Last night, I played in the first session of an Eberron game I joined while it was on hiatus in early December. Ironically, my Steven Prescott sketchbook came in the mail today, and I had him do a sketch of the character I was going to play in this campaign, but then changed my mind later. The game was fun, and as weird as it is to say it, I'm glad to be playing D&D again.
Although my character for the game is female, I think I'm over my affectation for playing female characters. However, I'm still much better at conceptualizing them than male characters, for some reason. My male characters still tend to be fairly one-dimensional for some reason. Maybe I should conceptualize my characters as female and then switch genders after they are finished. There's really no reason my current character has to be female.
