I had yesterday off of work because there were no pages for me to work on. Michelle and I went to Disneyland after she got home from work. She had her annual pass while I was signed in by my friend Laura. Actually, we were both signed in by Laura since Michelle couldn't find her pass at the gate, but she found it shortly after we were signed in. Oh, well.
I wanted to go specifically to ride the Haunted Mansion before they added all of the Nightmare Before Christmas stuff. It had been years since I'd seen "original recipe" Mansion. It was great. I saw the changes to the attic for the first time (the wedding photos, the lack of pop-up heads, the moved and redesigned bride), too.
I've been getting amped up about Halloween the last week or two, and going to the Haunted Mansion only fueled my fire. On our way to the tram, we stopped at the World of Disney store and I got the Haunted Mansion CD (with all of the music and stuff from the ride). I am now more determined than ever to host a kick-ass Halloween party at my house. I want to go all out with the decorations, too. I have plans.
