This weekend, at the tender age of 27 I had a revelation about why, despite having always had a very good relationship with my mother, I don't tell her about a lot of things.

It's because I find her way of being supportive difficult to deal with.

ARG the fucking battery charger for my car needs to be charged...for the third time. Apparently it has lost the ability to hold a charge for more than a day, no matter how long it's plugged in, or what its indicator light says. I am a crazy magnet. Seriously, I have more RANDOM conversation with complete strangers than anyone else ever seems to. Something about me says "Please, come to me, tell me your stories and/or problems". The issue with doing self promo pieces, is that I don't have any deadline other than what I try and set for myself. This means that there's no one telling me to put the tablet down and step away from the computer before I drive myself insane going "Let me just fix one more thing! I keep an Amazon wish list, mostly as a convenient way to keep track of books and other things that I'd like to read or buy at some point, but I generally only shop off of that site as a last resort. Something went horribly wrong with our heater last night, and now the house is 57 degrees, when the thermostat says it's attempting to reach 68.
