I got Lamia to wearable, though there's only 3 rows of suffolk puffs down each side of the front.  I decided that was my minimum to wear it and I wasn't sewing past midnight again.  Not even if it meant the entire front got covered. Even my candy cane corset for my wa-loli can be laced in so there's no gap, and that's without tight lacing it.  :o

I meant to say that I found the shopping bag with the Lamia stuff in it pretty quickly on Saturday evening. Tonight I get to unpack it to see if all the bits I bought are in it (double faced satin ribbon, d rings for the mock front lacing etc).

I'm thinking of making the L H Foy corset to wear under my Stardust costume.  I'll need to add a couple of bones to the bodice itself to keep it behaving properly on the body,

and it's much better than the last one, especially in terms of colour.  I need to  get it cut a little shorter however.  It's chastangela  length!! Way longer than I expected. I thought it'd be waist length.  I'd be tempted to give it some low lights too, as it's a fairly uniform colour - and yes I know it's a wig so to expect that.  And proof of being silly ( Read more... )
