Miracles do happen, I made it to the post office before it closed at 5pm on Friday, despite only getting on a bus at Martin Place at 4.44pm.  In fact I got there at 4.57pm, and quite frankly that's almost unbelievable.  I was very very keen to get there by Friday as I had a parcel notice for JubJub on Monday, and it's a week to collect. As well as the expected bears, lions etc the Australian Museum has a great range of australian animal plush toys, from sting rays, blue-ring octupus (with bitey mouth), platypus to daddy seahorses with a pouch of babies.  I could have dropped a bundle of money on them simply because they are so well designed.

I forgot to mention that I went to get a necklace I'd seen of large beads, bright pink necklace.  They didn't have any left so I looked into a Hot Dollar type store and found one for $2!!
