Puplet and I watched part of the first episode of the first season of The Muppet Show yesterday morning. It was still awesomely good (and funny) and the first performance was of Manamana. I have listened to the new Decemberists' album all the way through twice, and while it doesn't have the pop radio quality of Picaresque, you can see how they've made the transition from that through Crane Wife to this. It really is a whole listening experience, although there are about four or five songs that really stand out for me on their own ( Read more... )
