I started work this weekend on a vid that is filling me UTTERLY with GLEE. (Yes, this means I finally conquered my tech problems. Or at least figured out enough of a way to work around them that I can vid. *flexes*)

zabira linked me to Misha Collins being awesome at his first con. I don't talk about SPN much here, but I ship Castiel/Dean like WOAH ( Read more... )

bsg, pushing daisies, supernatural, sports night, firefly/serenity, alias, a weird and a wonderful show, vid talk, six feet under

Dollhouse (I think there's a lot of potential and look forward to it each week; also, where is all of the Echo/Sierra fic, y'all?)
I'm seeing the potential! Some scenes still make me flinch, but not as bad as the pilot. I'm starting to think that it might just work out. (And when that happens, FOX will probably cancel it.) (E/S ftw!!)

I just got Alias s1-2 from someone on my flist, but I still have to find some time to watch it.

Bill Adama, what the hell happened? When did he become a whiny drunk??

Yeah I think Dollhouse is working out its kinks as it goes along, slowly and with some cringe-worthy stuff still, but it's interesting! And E/S! Come on, people!

I don't know what happened to Bill Adama but it needs to STOP. (The thing is, I think he has always been this way and I just never realized it until season 2, which is when this all started going downhill for me.)

Seriously what the heck weather? Two days ago I had an iced coffee making it officially the start of spring and now it's SNOWING. I don't think I approve. Dear sky, check yourself before you wreck yourself.

You happily working on a vid makes me very happy.

Also, Saul Tigh is rock awesome and most of the time I wanna punch Bill Adama in his face. We should be friends!

ps. FISHERS

I ALSO declared it officially the start of spring just a week or so ago! Clearly we are terrible groundhogs.

We should be friends! Possibly we have other things in common? It could happen.

Yay vidding! Hope it keeps going that way and you get more time.

Enjoying Dollhouse as well (doesn't Echo & Boyd remind you of Sydney & Dixon?) and YAY for watching Alias!! How far are you? And Sports Night is lots of fun and cuteness :)

I have to disagree with you about Firefly and Pushing Daisies though. I think Firefly has LOTS more potential and storyline that I'm dying to see more than PD which I want more just because I love the world and want to see my characters over and over again with that trademark dialogues. I can better watch old episodes of PD to get my fix of it whereas with Firefly, what kills me about it being cancels is I want to know MOREMOREMORE. There is just so much background and Alliance stuff and amazing arcs that I know we would have gotten and I really want to see it. I think there's enough fans who still care who would totally be onboard with it being brought.

Can't they both come back? ;)

YES. So much! I love their relationship; it's probably my favorite thing about Dollhouse right now, and what convinced me that there's real hope here.

Let's see, where am I in Alias? Hm, so much happens I can't remember. Hee. Sydney's friends boyfriend just outed himself as a singer. That was adorable. And, uh. *flailing* I can't remember! Hee.

I guess my thing with Firefly is that I totally agree that there is much more there that we could get, but trying to do it NOW (instead of bringing it back 6 months-1 year after it was first canceled) seems like it would be doomed to failure. (The reason I mention it at all is because apparently there was another poll of people asking what canceled shows should be brought back and Firefly won it and I realized that for me, at least, I would prefer if we're talking about really bringing a show back NOW, I'd rather it was something canceled recently. But that's just IMO! I totally see what you're saying. :D)

Me too! I love their relationship and it's definitely helping keep my hope alive.

Awww I remember that, S1 was so great with Sydney's friends.

I really don't think it would fail. I think the time has helped bring a lot of new people to the show and the people who used to watch it still do. I would prefer to wait only until they figure out how to put shows online and then I think it'd do VERY well.

This week's Dollhouse is supposed to be Extra Super Duper Special, so I'm looking forward to seeing if it really lives up to that.

But yes, Misha = TOTAL ADORABLENESS.
