I always figured if I ever were in the position with one of my kids, I'd start with the feingold diet and go from there.

for one of the first times ever, I dare say. I'm working on the cake decorating--I need some more skill in that department. I rather like the piped-out cookies I made! chris says they look store-bought.

I had a dream last night that walgreens photo counter was giving out little bits of ice cream, about the size of a piece of candy, individually wrapped like candy. they were called Ice Cream Bits ( Read more... )

had 4 overripe pears, so I boiled and mashed them into pear sauce! which is extremely juicy, so I drained it and boiled down the juice into pear syrup! then made pancakes so we could use it right away. oh yeah and I used my great-grandma's old applesauce masher thingy!

normally I give up sweets for lent because to me, that's a huge sacrifice. I'm not this year, ironically because I have high blood sugar and need to cut down on that stuff anyway. on the one hand it feels like it's not a huge sacrifice (I mean, added onto the sacrificing I'm already doing) since I'm already cutting it out anyway. more more ( Read more... )

I made some chocolate truffles for katiesthoughts' halloween party, but then she canceled it, so I brought them to my niece's birthday party (which was also kind of Ingrid's too) instead.

he would've seen me still in my awesome apron, made by my great-grama.
