wherein I try to write a post that isn't about houses.
stuff I've made in the past 3 days:
white flour and white sugar FREE zucchini bread. ruined by making jello the same day.
pickled beets. Ingrid used to call them poco dees. now she says picky beet. :)
tomato, basil and fresh mozzarella salad, using tomatoes from my cousin's garden.*
fresh salsa, same with the tomatoes.
*so yeah... my cousin lives in the city in a bachelor pad. his friend's grama died and left the house, and he moved in with his friend. they have 4 chickens, a huge productive garden, and just planted grape vines. *jealous*
