1. Now that they have repealed the law prohibiting out-of-state marriages, Rebecca and I can get married in Massachusetts! We don't have to settle for some half-assed NJ "civil union." ...and not much to say. I'm using Rebecca's computer until my mom comes over to set up the wireless router. I'm in the midst of a 7-day stretch of working and I just got over being sick. I was able to move in yesterday after all. Around 10 AM the lady from the leasing office called me and told me I could come in at 2:00 to sign the lease and Rebecca could sign it later in the day. I made the security deposit on my apartment today. I also got to see, for the first time, the apartment which will actually be mine. Right now, it's gutted. They're putting in new carpets and an all-new kitchen, but it will be ready by the first. I am very, very pleased with it. I've already started going through my stuff.
