For the first time in a long time, I find myself stuck with nothing to do (except housework). I'm sure it's a momentary problem. I'm waiting on a small handful of colleagues and clients to do their things and send them to me, so I can then do my things.

This is just a quick post to let you know we've all arrived home safely. We got in to SF last night at 9:30 p.m., hungry and tired. After the baggage claim, a bus ride, and getting the car at the hotel where we left it, we finally stopped and ate at Denny's in Emeryville at 11:30 or so. Hi folks. Just a quick note to say we're home safe and sound. We had an easy drive over the summit and down the hill today. Only one 20-minute traffic delay due to road work. We left the cabin at around noon; it was sunny and the snow was melting quickly and falling in spectacular splatty splashes off the tree limbs. We had a yummy lunch in ( Read more... )

It's been snowing steadily for days. In the almost-week that we've been here, I think we've received at least three feet of snow. It is both inspiring and challenging. Somehow the snowy landscape makes me feel contemplative. And hungry, but whatever.
