Interesting dreams last night. No art projects from this one, but fairy worlds. A strange, wild man with gentle eyes and tiny guitars, about the size of my hand; fairies, leaves everywhere, rainbow coloured dogs (Bellwhether insisted they were in fact called gunterlings, and were not at all toy poodles- i was unconvinced), and the music- of pipes ( Read more... )

This past weekend was Vaudeville Carnivale 3. It's really a beloved event for  us- we were involved with the first two for volunteering & whatnot. Lately we've all been a bit removed from the dance scene, and then they changed the event location, so we didn't end up volunteering this time, but it was so nice just to go and watch.

I've been tired and kind of headachey all day, so I really don't have much to say tonight. I have a lot of catching up to do from these past few weekends- life has been busy, but fun- but I think I'm going to put that off just a little bit longer.

So on Friday I got to dance during Pittsburgh's Art Crawl through the cultural district. It was a student show by Amethyst, one of the local teachers/event coordinators, and she let me be a special guest dancer for them. :) It was really nice, very informal, but in a good way. Good open space, there was wrap-around seating, and people came and went ( Read more... )

The weekend was alright. Friday & sunday were miserable & achy, and the only notable thing I did was work. Saturday was the Mira Betz show.
