Finally completed processing and upload of our vacation pictures from the cruise. That project kind of dragged on, I should have finished it a month ago. Now I can focus on some more recent pictures. Still working on my enormous family photo scanning project, and last night I came across this precious photo of me and my sister (left) circa 1983. The most striking thing is our really terrible haircuts. My questionable outfit also suggests I may have dressed myself for the event. My furnace is fixed! The guy came this morning, and it was less than half of what I had been afraid I would be paying. Yay! Some drainage tubes had become clogged, so that's why it wasn't working. My poor little furnace, I should take better care of it.

When Grandma Irene passed away in 2002, I came into possession of all of her family photos and albums. It was really important to me that they be archived in such a way that everyone could enjoy them. After sitting on the project for years, I finally got my hands on an archival-quality scanner and have commenced the big scanning/labeling project. ( Read more... )

So the drumming I've been experiencing in my left ear for the past week seems to be an ear infection. I saw the Dr. today, who said he could see some kind of bubbles when looking inside, which were indicative of the infection in some way I didn't fully grasp.
