Selling photos
Has anyone ever sold a photo? What did you charge?
I never actually thought I'd be approached about one of my photos on Flickr, but the day has come and I'm not prepared. Someone has asked whether they can use one of my photos in a book. If the book is for-profit (which I have yet to determine), I'd like to be compensated. However, I have no idea what a reasonable going rate for an amateur photo is. $25? $50? $100? I guess I'll have to do some homework before responding.
