Toasty!
My furnace is fixed! The guy came this morning, and it was less than half of what I had been afraid I would be paying. Yay! Some drainage tubes had become clogged, so that's why it wasn't working. My poor little furnace, I should take better care of it.
I don't remember if I've mentioned it before, but there is a freaky cool Flickr group. I haven't joined because I'm not yet ready to contribute, but it is fascinating to watch the activity. It's called Flickr Group Roulette, and the premise is that the theme for each day is that of some other group on Flickr. For example, the theme today happens to be "Half-Naked Standing in front of Windows Monday," which is another group on Flickr, and tomorrow another group will be chosen. In terms of creativity, and especially if one is working on a 365 project, this is a goldmine. Can't come up with a fresh idea for today's photo? Bam! Instant idea, or at least a start.
I'd like to do another 365 project, but I want to take a few photography classes and improve my skills first. I also need to save up for a better lens. I can't wait to join this group.
