This is the past week or so:

• Rats in the Haggis had a super-geeky but well-paying gig as the entertainment for the Saturday night party at Hobbitcon the Vacaville Middle Earth Festival.

• I watched my friends make fools of themselves in silly shiney clothes and glitter makeup with ukeleles (and helped with clothing and making some of them up.)

I find I still have two comp tix for the Dickens Christmas Fair in San Francisco. I believe they're only good for the first two weekends, the first of which was last weekend, which means they're only useful for two more days.
