Last Friday, my friend Kristin invited me to join her at a Blues concert they were having at Wildwood later that evening. We met there around 7 and stayed for the duration of the concert. Spent almost all day yesterday with Vaidah, Krissy, Jodie, and Andrea at the Lilith Fair in George, WA. It was MADE OF AWESOME! The Gorge Amphitheater is *beautiful*, right on the Columbia River with a gorgeous view and natural acoustics that kick ass, and the concert was *amazing* and I got to cuddle with Vai, Jodie, and Krissy for the FIRST ( Read more... )

Point is having it's 150 Year Celebration this year, and Riverfront Rendezvous is Point's version of Dairy Fest, so to speak. Concert last night went way better than it really had any right too. Choir concert is tomorrow night. It's either going to go really well or really horrid. I'm hoping for the former, but who knows. The choir itself knows all the songs quite well, it's jazz that is having the issues. We don't know the madgical pieces as well as we should (though that could be because, I don't know, WE DIDN'T WORK ON THEM AT ALL ( Read more... )

So, Food for Thought was a total waste of time. We were stuck in a little alcove at the bottom of the connector with an artificial fichus tree in the corner of it as our audience.
