When I used bake cookies, it was an escape. . . I would blast my favorite music, and lose my world in the chemistry of the dough. It was like a vacation within the kitchen with a yummy outcome. However the more people tell me to make cookies, the more it feels like work.

There has been so much going on with my life in the last two months that I don’t know where to begin. . . I think I will start I can’t wait until 2011 to be so much better than 2010.  (However I am getting about a week ahead of myself.)

Today, Tom and I decorated the 5 layer cake without any help from his friends. His friend girlfriend said she wanted to help and was excited, but then Tom’s friend said he had to work on Friday night so we would have had to come alone. It’s Wednesday, and yesterday was Tom’s B-day. It was nice and very personally intimate.

Monday we went out to the Japanese Steak house where we had the hibachi grill. . . steak and salmon in front of us and only for 35 dollars. It was very nice.

Tom’s B-day week has been so good so far. Today I’m supposed to play video games with Tom.
