Yesterday it snowed all day, fairly heavily at times. The final forecast was for 4-8", which isn't a major storm, but is more than minor. The upstairs neighbor cleared the driveway and walks with the snowblower last night, and I just spent 25 minutes or so clearing my car (and porch steps, so I can take the trash out that way later). My voice seems to be a little better, but I'm wheezing. And exhausted: I went to Target this morning--out for about half an hour--then came home and napped for over an hour. My throat hurt a bit when I got home, too, although I didn't say more than five words to anyone the whole time.

So, the bronchitis never really went away, although it was better after the course of antibiotics. Last night, it turned abruptly worse, and this morning my chest was tight. I didn't know if I should try to go back to the doctor today or wait until Monday; I called first thing this morning to make an appointment either way, and they fit me in ( Read more... )

For once I didn't get bronchitis this winter. So now I have it this spring. Bleargh.

My cold has also morphed into a sinus infection, as expected.
Me to doctor: "...it's turning into a sinus infection, but I'm not sure it's there yet."
Him, after examining me: "It's there."

Made it to my parents' safely. Unfortunately, I had picked up a stomach bug somewhere and spent all night on the train throwing up. I had splurged on a sleeper (a "roomette"), which was kind of wasted in terms of sleeping but did give me a private place and my own toilet to do the throwing up in. Either my allergies are acting up more than usual, or I'm coming down with a cold. I do seem to be running a tiny bit of a temperature tonight, so I'm betting on the cold.
