This weekend, my housemate, a friend, and I went on a photo expedition together. The two of them are studio art majors interested in photography; I do digital photography as a "serious" hobby. We wanted to take pictures of the autumn leaves near Cripple Creek, CO. They were absolutely beautiful this year, more so than they've been any other year. ( Read more... )

Today was my 21st birthday. I spent it in the car with my family, traveling from Grand Teton National Park to our home in Colorado. I was actually fine with that. I got to see some very beautiful territory. Since I like traveling so much, it felt like a good way to celebrate (sibling fights aside).

After a few mishaps, I've arrived at Canterbury in England!

My flight from Colorado Springs to Dallas got diverted to Denver, thanks to an air seal that broke on the plane. That sounds dramatic, but what it really meant was that we couldn't reach altitude.
