During the summer, I have a lot of fun taking macro pictures of flowers. In the autumn I get photos of the yellow and orange leaves. I often feel that in the winter, everything turns drab--and there's not much to photograph. But that's not really the case. To prove myself wrong, here are some pictures I recently took.

Alas, I seem to have a never-ending source of pictures from England.  I took so many while I was there, I could post a picture a day for eternity. So I'm taking a creative writing class right now, and our last workshopping session was the funniest ever. This kid had written a story that started off relatively coherent but got progressively wackier. This weekend, my housemate, a friend, and I went on a photo expedition together. The two of them are studio art majors interested in photography; I do digital photography as a "serious" hobby. We wanted to take pictures of the autumn leaves near Cripple Creek, CO. They were absolutely beautiful this year, more so than they've been any other year. ( Read more... )
