I tried writing last night but L took over and started typing so I gave up. The kids and I are still sick but the girls haven't had fevers since Friday night. My throat is really sore but doesn't feel like strep yet. The girls cough sometimes and you can tell their throats are hurting, too. Poor little things.

Allison woke up today with a croupy cough and fever. She was up for a few hours then fell asleep for a nap. Then Lizzy woke up and seemed better than yesterday. Liz woke up yesterday with a croupy cough and then by evening had a fever to go with it. Before we went to bed last night I started getting a scratchy throat and was coughing some. I am ready to be healthy. I can't decide how I feel. One hour I feel decent, able to whip up a somewhat healthy meal for the kids, and then clean up toys and put away laundry.... the next I've got a pounding headache and my body hurts and I can't stop hacking. Well this week has been very busy. Monday the girls and I started getting colds and sore throats. Then Tuesday was Jon's birthday. We had his parents over in the evening for cookies and cake.
