I can't say how much I love doing kickboxing!!!  Talk about a full on workout and to top it off, if you're having a bad day... just take it out on the bags.  You start off the class starting up some cardio and then you just let your stress of the day dissolve w/ each kick and punch of the bag ( Read more... )

Today I made it through the second kickboxing class!  Woohoo!!  I'm doing a little happy dance. After Tuesday's class, I wasn't too sure how I'd feel the next morning. It worked out that I wasn't too sore and was able to go to the gym that night and do the treadmill for 3 miles ( Read more... )

Went to my first kickboxing class today w/ one of my friends.  Pretty much we came across the deal on Groupon- 20 class for $34.  We walked in today for our first class and my jaw nearly dropped.  I guess I was thinking like Tae Bo with all the cardio.  Nope, I see all the ladies coming in w/ boxing gloves and the room has a bunch of punching bags ( Read more... )

The holiday weekend has passed by in a blur.  I did not accomplish much of anything during those 3 days at all.
