I adore my Evo, but I love it for what it can do, not because HTC makes it or because of any particular trendiness. I did a lot of research and waiting before committing to a smartphone as anyone who reads this journal knows, and even though the Evo is best in class for the moment, competition in this space is fierce. I haz an Evo!

I'm beginning to fear that my likage curse is affecting tech. (The more I like something, the better the chance that it will fail/close/be taken off the menu/etc.)

So, I have to admit that I'm pretty interested in the HTC Evo, which is likely to be released 52 days from now (yes, I counted) on Sprint.
