I finished A Memory of Light yesterday.

I'm off work today, and don't want to give my time to writing a review right now, but I did want to mark the moment.

It's late, so I'll be brief: the world will truly miss Ray Bradbury. Here are a few of the better pieces I've seen today:

Michael Hart was a true pioneer of the early web. It's difficult to overstate the importance of Project Gutenberg, not only for expanding access to books, but for helping to shape current reader expectations and perceptions related to digital publishing.

I've been reading more lately. My dearest, too-generous husband got me a Nook Color for my birthday, and it's hard to express how much I've enjoyed it already. It fits perfectly into my life. We were out and about running a few errands today, and happened to tune in to the Bob Edwards Weekend show on WABE. The host was interviewing Tom Rachman about his debut novel, The Imperfectionists.
