A few days ago, I discovered that a metal can of OFF! spray had rusted out at its bottom, and the contents had leaked all over the glass shelves of the 18" by 24" niche built into our bathroom wall for storing grooming products.  The stuff then dried there.  Taking the shelves out and soaking them in water did nothing.  Cleaning products didn't ( Read more... )

The barbecue is doing fabulously.  The lights over the sink are in, and they are...cyoot!  I will have to get a new curtain rod at some point, and retrain Ray to stop using it to dry plastic bags on.  The ceiling looks like shit, but we had some damage in the main part of the room, so the whole shebang needs redoing, and meanwhile ( Read more... )

The vinyl tile for our new kitchen floor is ordered.   I'm not messing around.  I'm getting Armstrong commercial grade tile, because it's color-all-the-way-through, not just printed on the surface.  With two 70-lb dogs, I figure nothing less will do ( Read more... )
