Well, that went better than I expected at the time of my last post
The barbecue is doing fabulously. The lights over the sink are in, and they are...cyoot! I will have to get a new curtain rod at some point, and retrain Ray to stop using it to dry plastic bags on. The ceiling looks like shit, but we had some damage in the main part of the room, so the whole shebang needs redoing, and meanwhile,
I can see the crud around the sink! You might not think that would thrill me the way it does, but in order to clean stuff, I need to be able to see where the sink snot is, and it was darn hard before.
Ray went and picked up a library copy of the movie Rango, I'm sitting down with a cup of decaf pumpkin pie coffee, and in a bit I'll continue taking the lights off the tree and pulling it apart.
*Sighs happily*
