Good thing I decided to pick up the phone earlier this afternoon when it rang and it registered a valid person's name and phone number, however both number and name were alien to me hence why I was tempted to not answer it, but something in my gut told me to answer the call and answer it I did.

It was the right choice to make.

Well I'd say that 2009 is off to a somewhat so-so start.  The end of 2008 wasn't at all that great.  I found out just a week before Christmas that the entire call center staff here in the city was laid off, so it wasn't a very merry Christmas for all of us (across the board under our company about 525 people were laid off a week before the holiday ( Read more... )

Lately I've been thinking about working mainly from home.  I am getting sick and tired of having to wake up early every day, go through my usual morning ritual and...well, battle the annoying morning rush hour traffic just to get to work on time!

I woke up this morning before my alarm went off.  It was no thanks to my incessant coughing that has been the bane of my very existence this past few weeks now.  Anyway, I was kinda nervous that I might not wake up early enough to make it to work on time, but turns out I did OK.
