 Yesterday I

• went to work
• paid the babysitter all of my pay for this week
• finished the Suma order at home because the internet connection at the cafe was crappy
• spent three hours trying to get in touch with D
• finally got through on his mobile and had a huge fight with him

First of all, I decided a little facelift was in order.  My LJ has had the same theme for about two years and I was ready for something new.  We'll see how long this lasts.  What I really wish I could do is sort of invent a custom theme....but I'm hopeless at stuff like that and, frankly, who has the time ( Read more... )

Ugh.  I know I said I would post more often, but it's the same with overdue library books.  I know I need to take care of them and I just don't.  Never mind that the library is a quarter of a mile away.  Never mind that my laptop is sitting on my desk which lives in my bedroom.  I just don't do it.

D returns from Sweden tomorrow.  I feel like a train wreck (ok, so what else is new?)  and I so need a few hours to myself!  I've become rather sleep deprived this week, for a number of reasons.

I'm sick and tired.  Exhausted, as a matter of fact.  Our nights have gotten pretty bad and I've gotten a bit run down.  I had pharyngitis last week and was on antibiotics (eek) which didn't do J's stomach much good.  My throat felt better within hours of taking the first dose.  However, three days after I completed the course my throat felt sore ( Read more... )

 Well, the weather has perked up and so have my spirits.  J and I are having a mostly quiet day at home, but we've spent a fair amount of time out back doing laundry and putting in those plants we bought on Friday.  I did a load of diapers this morning and the sun decided to cooperate and bleach them all clean!  I'm happy.  In particular, I'm happy ( Read more... )
