I'm actually kinda wishing I'd taken the full year off work so that I could do the transition to solids entirely myself, rather than daycare 2 days a week where they haven't heard of baby led solids (and probably don't really have the staff in the baby room to watch her while she eats something non-mashed

Well, the good thing about crying most of yesterday is that she slept really well last night - 12-4 then 5-7. Actually I'm not sure that the crying and the sleeping are at all related as last time she had a bad day she wouldn't sleep till 3am

...and Bridie's starting to be more like a human than a human-in-waiting. She seems to have had one of those developmental leaps this weekend; she's really holding her head up a long time by herself, rather than just lifting it a few moments then it thumping back down on her carrier's chest.
