Our Senate shot down two disastrous bills yesterday - one dealing with shuttering the internet that would have stripped our right to communicate freely and would have handed control over to the likes of AT&T, Comcast and Verizon; two, they also shot down Rand Paul’s Dirty Air Assault, 56 to 41. The curtains are done, ironed and hanging. They look great but I don't want to have to iron them again anytime soon. Of course, I had to accu-suck under furniture that was moved so that took a while and moved a few other pieces around and that got me to thinking - more about that when I do it. I missed two birthdays yesterday - hangs head in shame. A Big Late Happy Birthday to quilterbear & dqg_nealNasty weather here all day yesterday and it looks like it will continue today. The snowplows were out all night prepping the roads for rush hour and by the looks of it did a good job. On Sunday’s list of chores in this house were doing the last of the laundry, changing the linens and picking up around the house. Just hate doing laundry but it is so much better than doing laundry in an apartment building so I shouldn’t complain too much. The garden was on the list too but I never made it out there.
