This was because, allegedly, the new lockdown rules being invoked for London, Tier 2, imply that couples who do not reside under the same roof, may not have visits for ye conjugalz indoors.

I was given pause during reading a very negative review of 12 Years A Slave, which, among other things, suggested that it registered a major failure to demonstrate 'the capacity for spiritual sustenance, inherited from the legacy of slavery and survival'.

Have been having a month now of losing stuff, forgetting things, breaking things, and things not working or stopping working (we returned to work to find that a core piece of software No Can Haz at the moment, grrr).

This is being a short but extremely hectic week, workwise: maternity leave cover person doesn't start till next week; one member of dept, and admin person, off all week; various other whole and part-day absences by other members of our team (we were down to 2 of us today).
