A thought generated by Oliver Burkeman's column in today's Guardian Weekend, which has interesting resonances with this post I made some while ago about people undervaluing their own skills.

Had a thought, coming back from a glorious walk on the heath (maintained by the National Trust) into the beautifully landscaped and maintained grounds here, that there are many things I like that I could not do and have no desire to undertake myself at any stage of my career, but which I am very, very glad that people have done and do do.
