Heavy mist almost amounting to fog this morning, still a little hazy by the pm but visibility okay. Several takers for the walk, but, although I have been thinking I am perhaps not on my top form at present, was well out in front, and chatting to the trainer (who has been there for years). Yes, today was fine enough for the afternoon walk to take place, although there were substantial portions of it where one had to keep one's gaze fixed firmly on the ground to pick out the drier spots. Was at exhibition launch at the Florence Nightingale Museum yestereen: it was a Very Small Exhibition, but in the general Flo-related areas I spotted this lovely thing of hers: writing desk (very unlike a raven). I tried to take a photo on my phone but couldn't get a good angle as it was in a case.

Drew back the curtains this morning and at first thought it had snowed during the night, and then realised that the entire lawn was covered with thick frost, sparkling in sunlight under a clear blue sky.
