This is being a short but extremely hectic week, workwise: maternity leave cover person doesn't start till next week; one member of dept, and admin person, off all week; various other whole and part-day absences by other members of our team (we were down to 2 of us today). Back to work, where our dept was down to one-third of usual strength this am (fortunately another member of dept only had the am off and was in later), plus admin person is also away.
