I've enjoyed reading everyone's 2011 costume reviews. You gals has been so productive! And so many beautiful outfits. I'm not as caught up in the 1910 and 1920 styles others are, but I enjoy watching the awesome outfits you people whip out. And the various Rococo and bustle dresses always makes me drool. One of the first real costume replicas I made from "Phantom of the Opera", was the blue Wishing dress from second act. It was a way too advanced project for an amateur. Really. The finished result looked good, but the fit wasn't all that great, and the bodice soon became a pain to wear. I've wanted to make a new one for ages, and started on it ( Read more... )

Remodeling costumes might be the most boring thing ever. But I have a couple of old costumes I can't squeeze myself into to save my life. Apparently I've gained a LOT of weight since 2003. I don't feel all that bigger, but the costumes don't lie ( Read more... )
