I've enjoyed reading everyone's 2011 costume reviews. You gals has been so productive! And so many beautiful outfits. I'm not as caught up in the 1910 and 1920 styles others are, but I enjoy watching the awesome outfits you people whip out. And the various Rococo and bustle dresses always makes me drool. Stiffening the hem of another Italian item - this time the maroon, gold embroidered underskirt. I'm stitching two strips of blue felt to the hem as we speak, and will add a strip of the same fabric as the skirt is made of overneath. This time my folk costume from Åmli/Aust-Agder. Not the actual dress and shirt, but accessories. I started on the Spencer-ish jacket ages ago, but never bothered to attach lining to the sleeves. Did that today, plus fixing other minor stuff. Although I see areas where I was sloppy or just not good in the past, I'm quite happy with it overall. It ( Read more... )
