Three authentic Phantom of the Opera costumes, from Hamburg. Mine. MINE! I am so happy I wanna cry.
The blue "Wishing" dress was one I got through eBay some years ago. It's from early Hamburg days, and was worn by singer Renée Knapp when she played Christine between 1990 and 1994. It's seriously faded in front, to the point of the intense blue fabric appearing mint green, but it's otherwise in remarkably good condition. And it's a tailoring marvel! More about it here:

She had gotten them through an auction in the mid-90s, probably the same where the blue dress were sold. She emailed me and asked if I would be interested in buying them, which I of course was. She's also been the sweetest person ever, and sent me the costumes before I had paid for them, as she understood I might be sceptic to pay a stranger money without seeing the goods...! THAT is trust.
The green and red "Slavegirl" costume was worn by Julie Collins, who was a member of the corps de ballet in Hamburg in 1992, and Meg Giry in 1993/94. It's tiny in size, and a bit stained. It also lacks gems on collar and beads on shoulders. But WOW! I adore this costume. I will take lots of photos of it and put it out in an own site, here:

This seems to date from her early run, ca. 1993. The skirts had WAY more stars back then. It's longer than modern versions as well, but tiny in the waist as she was queen of narrow waist. I've put a bit info out on a separate page, and there is of course more to come:
