Overall Thoughts: I didn't expect myself to get back into this, but after I did, oh, I don't regret it at all. I met the best people in the world-I'm so glad that I did. I think my writing radically changed into something I'm really comfortable with, but of course, I've gotta improve~
Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted? At first I wasn't really planning on writing so much, but when summer came along, oh god I was throwing stories out there left and right, it was crazy. So I think I wrote more fic than I planned haha :)
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January? I never predicted myself even shipping in the SHINee fandom. So when I started writing it was like a, uh, "What?" and...yeah lol.
What's your own favorite story of the year? however-you-want-it It's...probably this one, partially because it seems that everyone seemed to love this one the most? and when I think back to it, it was just a weird way to sum up my summer this year (but not really, because none of that besides the...sharing of the frapp actually happened). A summer of...not so great days, but an unforgettable one, nonetheless. I think I might have been at my peak here, too, and it seemed like I was comfortable with what I was writing. But close seconds might be twentysomething and a mix tape which is a really old collection of drabbles haha.
Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them? With style, I've tried a lot of things. I've changed a lot throughout my writing. I basically learned that there's no real one style you can stick you-you change according to mood, even season. So you can't get frustrated over how one piece doesn't resemble another exactly. It all depends on enjoying writing it and feeling good about it. Also, smut and humor. Because I'm really not funny, and I always get embarrassed when writing smut l o l. I learned I still have ways to go.
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the new year? I want to try more styles, and actually complete things I've set up for myself. I might have my fourth completed "series" soon l o l.

My best story of this year: yes Maybe I've had better, but there was something about yes that I really liked. Because I wrote it, thinking I should be as true to reality as I possibly could, and I think I really accomplished it here. It wasn't far-fetched like my other ontaem stories, but it still had that little streak of fiction in it that I liked. And it was subtle. I don't know, I think I controlled my language here well.
My most popular story of this year: however-you-want-it of course, hahaha.
Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion: i can't tell you it's just one of my really lesser known drabble collections, I think? that, and a mix tape and the tempest. I thought both were really packed with emotion, and it was when I was experimenting with style and they just seemed to be the best.
Most fun story to write: it's a love story (baby just say yes) it was just fluff fluff teeth-rotting fluff, I loved writing it haha.
Story with the single sexiest moment: drawstrings because it was just pwp essentially, but crash and burn is a real close second i guess, haha.
Most "holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story: I don't think I ever wrote anything that made me feel this way haha.
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: I think I generally used the same...personality for each person in each story of mine. There was that underlying trait that existed in each in every story. I don't think my perceptions ever changed.
Hardest story to write: insurance cards at the ready (quick, because my heart's dying) I remember i struggled so much with this; I just didn't know how to get into it. But I'm struggling even more with other stories, which is why they're not posted right now haha.
Biggest disappointment: essentially, my old jongkey. I can't even choose-I can't look back and reread those, it's so bad lol.
Biggest surprise: honestly, however-you-want-it. It sort of shocked me!
Most unintentionally telling story: green was supposed to be sad, but I think I wasn't...expecting it to hit me so hard after I wrote it. Things happened in life, and when I looked back on it, I realized just how much this relates to me and it was powerful? something like that.

so it's 2011, which means i can start with a clean slate (sort of). like i said before i never expected myself to get into writing again...but i'm so glad i did. because i got to meet some of the people i've come to love so, so, so much. and i've learned what it feels to receive love! from people you like, and i want to thank you guys so much, so much for all the support and everything you've given me haha :) idk why you guys want to read my writing but honestly it makes me so happy to know that you guys enjoy it (even if some of you may be lying shakes fist at you)
